Angel of Christmas

Description: This is my first angel painting! I rather like the way she turned out.. when I sketched her, I was imagining her with brown hair and brown eyes.. in my sketch she looked much darker.. but when I started painting her, she took on a life of her own. It's hard to see from the photo above, but the outside border is a gold color, and I painted it with watercolor that has sparkles in it, so it shimmers when you tilt it from side to side. The sheer sleeves on her dress are also painted in the sparkly gold paint.
